Planned spending in most business areas increased. The most significant increase is in Community Maintenance and Development, with funding allocated for ongoing projects and programs.

What Are Cambridge’s Largest Community Development Projects?

Cambridge has three notable line items valued at over $20 million each, all within the Community Maintenance and Development category. The most significant line item is ‘Public Works: Streets - Complete Streets Reconstruction,’ worth $98 million. Another $45 million is planned for ‘Public Works: Streets - Central Square,’ and $23 million for ‘Public Works: Sewer/Stormwater - Western Avenue & River Street.‘
